Suspect arrested in slayings of 2 men near Henryetta

HENRYETTA, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect has been arrested in the slayings of two men near Henryetta.
Cherokee County Undersheriff Jason Chennault told reporters that the suspect was captured late Friday by rangers at Sequoyah State Park for burglarizing a chapel in the park.
The man is now being held for the deaths of 73-year-old Floyd Andrew Hathcoat and an unidentified man at Hathcoat's home in McIntosh County. Online court records do not indicate that formal charges have been filed.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Hathcoat was found dead Friday in his home by a neighbor and that deputies later found the second man dead in the home.
