OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A prosecutor says no charges are warranted against two Oklahoma City police officers involved in a fatal shooting on a city bus.
 
The June 24 shooting death of 42-year-old Miguel Angel Chavez-Angles was captured on the bus' surveillance video. In a letter Tuesday to Oklahoma City Police Chief Bill Citty, District Attorney David Prater said the video showed that the officers "had no viable option" other than deadly force.
 
Police say Chavez hijacked a car then locked himself inside an auto repair shop before boarding the bus. The video shows Chavez grabbing for Officer Heather Lane's gun, then wrestling her to the floor of the bus. Officer Daniel Carli boards and shoots Chavez several times.
 
Neither of the officers nor any passengers were injured.
