(KLZA)-- Nemaha and Otoe County, Nebraska Veterans Service Officer Bill Hessler informed the Nemaha County Commission last week that he has submitted his resignation to the Otoe County Commission.

The resignation was effective July 31.

Otoe County has indicated interest in possibly entering into an interlocal agreement for services for a full time officer to serve both counties. The Nemaha County Board indicated they would like to have the Otoe County Commissioners come to a meeting to discuss an interlocal agreement.
