(KNZA)--No serious injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck involving a portable crane Sunday morning in Brown County.

Sheriff John Merchant says 37-year-old Joel Chavez, of Plains, Kansas, was westbound on U.S. 36 Highway in the vicinity of Kestrel Road when he appeared to have the left the roadway and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to turn over on its side.

Merchant says Chavez received minor injuries.

The wreck, which was reported around 9:00 Sunday morning just west of Hiawatha, remains under investigation.
