(KLZA)-- The second part of a resurfacing project is set to begin next week on Route 118 between U.S. Route 59 in Mound City and Route 111 near Big Lake in Holt County. 

Beginning Monday, August 1, 2016, contractors from Chester Bross Construction Company, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will narrow the road to one lane in work zones that could extend up to two miles as part of a project that will resurface and widen this stretch of Route 118.

 
Crews will work daylight hours Monday through Friday, though some Saturday work may be required, as well.
