(KNZA)--A rollover wreck has left a portion of U.S Highway 75, in Jackson County, closed Wednesday evening.
The Kansas Department of Transportation reports the affected area stretches from 174th to 166th Roads, with only one lane of traffic open for both northbound and southbound traffic.
As of 7:00, KDOT estimated the highway would remain closed for 2 to 3 hours.
The agency says the closure follows the rollover, which involved a fire truck. Initial emergency reports indicated the truck belonged to the Hoyt fire crew, but that is not yet confirmed.
No other details are immediately released pending the investigation.
