(KLZA)-- Area motorists are alerted to upcoming roadway construction set to start next week.

The Nebraska Department of Roads says that will happen beginning Monday, on U.S. Highway 75, north of Auburn, and on S-64G, near Peru.

Traffic will be controlled by one-lane work zones and flaggers, with the speed limit reduced to 45 mph during work hours.

Hawkins Construction Company, of Omaha, Nebraska, is the contractor for the more than $4-million project

Work is expected to wrap-up by September.
