(KMZA)--The Nemaha Central USD 115 Board of Education is proposing a 2016-17 budget of nearly $12.9 million that that contains a slight mill levy increase.
The Board approved the proposed budget for publication during a special meeting Wednesday evening.
The budget contains an estimated tax rate of 41.129 mills, which is to raise more than $2.9 million in property tax revenue.
The Board will consider adoption of the budget following a public hearing at their August 8th meeting.
