(KMZA)--The Nemaha Central USD 115 Board of Education has ratified a negotiated agreement with the Nemaha Central Education Association for 2016-17.
That came during the Board’s first meeting of fiscal year 2017 last week.
The salary package, which includes the district paid health insurance fringe, contains a nearly 2.4 percent increase.
Following an executive session, salary increases for classified, administrative and special licensed personnel were approved.
Those classified staff who have 1-9 year’s experience will receive a 1.5 percent increase and those 10 or more year’s experience will receive a 2.5 percent increase. The two returning administrators will receive a 1.5 percent increase.
Jason Hammes was re-elected Board president and Owen Zinke was re-elected vice-president.
