The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 2:00 Wednesday afternoon for the following local counties in northeast Kansas--Atchison,  Doniphan and Leavenworth.  Also included in the watch is Buchanan and Holt Counties in northwest Missouri.
