(KLZA)--Still stuck.

That’s the message from the Pawnee City Council after Monday’s meeting regarding two burnt buildings in downtown.

The owners, Jerry Graham and Eileen Heinz, cannot be located or contacted in order for the city to serve papers informing them they have 30 days to repair or demolish the buildings.

They are at their Hawaii residence after Graham had shoulder surgery there.

“Right now, we’re just at a standstill  until we get him served,” said Pawnee City Clerk Tammy Stephens.

The city is continuing to explore options to proceed with the buildings that have been burnt since last fall.
