(KNZA)--The 98th annual Brown County Fair begins Monday at the fairgrounds in Horton.
The theme for this year’s fair is “ Get Connected with 4-H.”
Livestock will be entered Monday, with an ice cream social and music from 6 to 8 in the evening.
The fair parade will take place Tuesday evening at 6:30, with the fashion revue to follow.
Wednesday brings the swine, bucket calf, beef and dairy shows. The Pedal Power Tractor Pull will be take place that evening at 7:00 at the outside cement platform, with registration beginning at 6:00. The event is open to all boys and girls through 11 years old. Children must be registered by their parents.
Free entertainment will be provided Thursday evening at 8:00 by county music artist Erik Dillon at the cement platform at the fairgrounds.
The fair will wrap up Friday evening with an awards program at the livestock arena and livestock sale.
A carnival will be held, beginning at 6:00, Tuesday through Thursday evening.
