Body of Oklahoma Woman recovered

McLOUD, Okla. (AP) - The body of an Oklahoma woman who was swept away in her car by floodwaters has been recovered from a Pottawatomie County creek.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth says the body of 49-year-old Dorinda Cullum was discovered Tuesday following a search of Pecan Creek. Booth says her body was located about a mile downstream from where her vehicle was washed away.
Authorities say the victim was swept away by floodwaters on Sunday night. The area received about 5 inches of rain and the sheriff's office estimates the creek rose 8 to 10 feet. The car was recovered on Monday.
Authorities say the victim telephoned her husband after her car was washed against a tree. He attempted to rescue her before the tree snapped and the car vanished into the creek.
