(KLZA)-- A new doctor will begin practicing at Family Medicine Clinic in Falls City beginning August 1st.

Dr. Justin Westengaard will do General Family Practice and will provide pregnancy, birth and post-natal care. 

Dr. Westingaard has been completing his Rural Health residency in Kearney through the University of Nebraska Medical Center Training Track and becomes a Board Certified Family Physician this summer. He has been working weekend rotations in the Community Medical Center Emergency Room since September, 2014. 

Westengaard is a native of Red Cloud, graduated from Hastings College in 2000 with a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He completed his medical pre-requisites at University of Nebraska at Kearney and Medical degree at UNMC in Omaha. 

Dr. Westingaard is married to Kenesaw native Holly. They have two children ages 6 and 2.

Appointments to see Dr. Westingaard are now being accepted at Family Medicine Clinic in Falls City.
