(KLZA)-- Two Rock Port, Missouri men suffered what were described as moderate injuries Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle wreck in Atchison County, Missouri.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that shortly after noon, a pickup, driving south on Route U, approximately 3 miles south of Langdon, Missouri when it crossed the center line, traveled off the east side of the road, struck and embankment and continued into a ditch then hit a culvert.

The driver, a 66-year-old man and the passenger a 39-year old man, were not wearing safety devices at the time of the wreck.

Both men were transported by the Atchison-Holt Ambulance to the Fairfax Community Hospital for treatments of their injuries.

The pickup was totaled in the crash.
