(KNZA)--Holton USD 336 has announced the hiring of a new assistant principal at Holton Elementary School.

District officials say Jordan Yulich will step into the role beginning July 1st, bringing more than a decade of experience in elementary education.

Yulich currently teaches fifth grade in the Shawnee Heights School District, where he has also taken on several leadership roles during his tenure.

In a statement, the district says Yulich is known for a leadership style focused on building relationships, fostering trust, and making thoughtful, consistent decisions.

He holds a master’s degree in school leadership from Emporia State University, along with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and is fully licensed in both building leadership and elementary education.

Yulich will replace Carrie Davis, who is stepping down at the end of the current school year after three years in the position.
