(KLZA)--Three people are in custody following a drug investigation by the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the investigation began in early March and led to a felony warrant for 31-year-old Roger Duckett of Leona, Kansas for conspiracy to commit a felony.
Investigators allege Duckett was distributing methamphetamine in Falls City and other communities across Richardson County.
The Sheriff’s Office coordinated with the Doniphan County Sheriff’s Office, and on April 21st, Duckett was taken into custody. He is currently being held in the Doniphan County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Richardson County.
On Friday, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence located at 24 S. Church Street in Salem. During the search, officers located about 4.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.
As a result, 44-year-old Buddy Graves was arrested on multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence, maintaining a drug house, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested was 42-year-old Jessette Gifford, who faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Both Graves and Gifford were booked into the Richardson County Jail.
