(KMZA)--A Sabetha man is facing charges in Nemaha County related to alleged privacy violations.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jeremy Carson was arrested earlier this month by the Kansas Highway Patrol on a Nemaha County warrant. The charges stem from an investigation by the Seneca Police Department into incidents reported between June 1st and December 10th of 2025.

According to the criminal complaint, Carson is accused of knowingly and without authority using a camera or recording device to capture images or video of an identifiable person in a state of undress, without that person’s consent. Authorities allege the recordings were made with the intent to invade the individual’s privacy.

A second count alleges Carson used a device to secretly record or monitor sounds inside a private place without the consent of the person in control of that space.

Carson remains free on a five-thousand-dollar bond. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Tuesday.
