The Board also approved carpeting for multiple areas in the district in an amount of $36,631. Chaney Furniture of Falls City was awarded the bid which includes the Middle School Library; two rooms at North School, the Title Room and the Music Room at South School.
The Board also approved the contract with Educational Service Unit #4 for services during the next school year at a cost of $75,300.
Meal prices for the next school year were also approved. During the 25-26 school year, the Falls City Nutrition Program was not able to financially sustain itself due to the rising costs of food, supplies, labor and health insurance.
The Board approved an increase of a nickel per meal for breakfast and lunches.
