Organizers say the fundraiser at the Atchison County Fair Grounds will include a vendor fair, a silent auction, a pony pull, goat roping, and food throughout the day.
The vendor fair is scheduled from 11:00 Saturday morning until 4:00 Saturday afternoon. A walking taco lunch is planned late Saturday morning from 11:30 until 1:30, with the Shannon 4-H Club listed as the group selling the meal. The silent auction is scheduled from noon until 7:00 Saturday evening, with the pony pull scheduled at noon and goat roping to follow.
A free-will donation pulled pork dinner is planned Saturday evening starting at 5:00, and organizers say it will be served until the food is gone. A street dance is also listed for Saturday night from 8:00 until 11:00.
Organizers also list a car and tractor show Saturday at Effingham City Park, with registration beginning at 11:00 Saturday morning and winners announced Saturday afternoon at 2:00.
