(MSC News)--More than 2,600 FFA members and guests from across Kansas are gathering this week on the Kansas State University campus in Manhattan for the 98th Kansas FFA Convention.

According to a release from the Kansas FFA Association, the event kicks off Wednesday evening and runs through Friday afternoon. The release says chapters from more than 185 communities across the state are represented.

New this year, the opening session will be held in the Morgan Family Arena on the K-State campus, where award winners will be recognized and candidates for the 2026-2027 state officer team will address the crowd.

The release says remaining general sessions will be held at McCain Auditorium, where members will recognize additional award winners, honor scholarship recipients, and hear from featured speakers. Attendees will also participate in workshops and hear retiring addresses from outgoing state officers.
