(KNZA)--A Hoyt man is facing multiple charges following an early morning traffic stop in Jackson County. 

According to Sheriff Tim Morse, a deputy conducted a traffic stop shortly before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Walmart in Holton on an Acura TL.

The driver , identified as 67-year-old Daniel Carlow,  was taken into custody following the stop.

He was booked into the Jackson County Jail on multiple charges, including four counts of aggravated offender registration violations, one count of offender registration violation, and criminal carry of a weapon by a convicted felon.
