Lancaster fight lands one in hospital, another arrested

(KAIR)--A Lancaster man is facing a domestic battery charge following his arrest last week in connection with what authorities call "a past battery" in Lancaster.

According to a release from Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie, it was around 3:00 on the afternoon June 18th that deputies responded to Atchison's Amberwell Hospital for a reported battery that had occurred in Lancaster.

At the hospital, a 19-year-old Lancaster man was being treated for injuries sustained during the altercation. He told deputies the battery occurred at a residence in the 100 block of High Street in Lancaster.

Following the investigation, deputies located 42-year-old Nathan Baker of Lancaster at the residence around 4:30 that afternoon.

Following his arrest for domestic battery, Baker was booked into the Atchison County Jail where he is no longer listed as an inmate.
