(KLZA)--Richardson County Sheriff Rick Hardesty presented proposals for Fiscal Year 2026-27 salaries for Sheriff's Department employees to the Richardson County Board during their June 17 meeting.
Included was his calculations of the cost if the County were to provide family health insurance coverage for employees at 70 percent of the total cost.
No action was taken by the Board.
Veteran's Service Officer Odis Fields presented the nominations received for the appointment to the Veteran's Service Committee for the term July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2031.
The Board voted to reappointment Jameson Baker to the Committee for the term.
Patrick Kreifsl, Regional Administrator of Region V Systems and Matt Kasik, Director of APACE presented the annual reports of the organizations which included statistics of services provided to Richardson County and funding required from each county per state statute.
Richardson County will pay $15,713 for the next fiscal year and will provide additional funds requested in an amount of $2,446 to meet the programming requirements of Region V.
Emergency Management Agency Director Brian Kirkendall presented the Subrecipient Certification of Compliance with Foreign National vetting Requirements and requested the Board approve the certification to be submitted to the State Emergency Management Agency.
Commissioners approved the request for the certification for EMPG Funding for Fiscal Year 2025-26.
Commissioners also approved the purchase order for 100 Public Alert NOAA Weather radios from Midland Radio Corporation in an amount of $3,499.
