The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the met were northbound on Interstate 29 shortly before 11 p.m. When the pickup driven by a 24-year old man traveled off the west side of the road. The undercarriage of the pickup impacted an emergency crossover and the pickup became airborne.
The pickup came to rest in the median on its wheels.
The driver and a 23-year old passenger both suffered minor injuries and were transported by the Atchison/Holt EMS to the Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph.
Both men were wearing safety devices at the time of the wreck.
The Mound City Police Department assisted at the scene.
