(KLZA)-- The Pawnee City City Council has accepted the resignation of Council Member Vickie Zelenka effective immediately. The resignation creates a vacancy for her position on the City Council.

The Mayor is now accepting applications from those interested in filling this partial Council Member Team. The partial term will run from July 13th, 2026 through December 2028.

Those interested can pick up an application at the City Office, 605 G Street, Pawnee City and return it to the City Office by 4:30 PM Friday, July 10th 2026
