(KLZA)-- The 2026 Pawnee County Fair is underway with activities going on at the Fairgrounds in Pawnee City through Saturday.
Events going on Thursday night include:
The Pawnee County Fair Parade with a theme of Garden of Dreams starting a 6 p.m.
97-year-old Esther Tegtmeier has been part of the Pawnee County Fair for generations and will serve as Grand Marshall.
The Midway entertainment is open from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Greg's Goodtime Polka Band will perform at 6:30 p.m.
A meal will be served at 7 p.m.; with the stick horse races out the gate at 7 p.m. The team roping competition will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Friday events will include:
the Southeast Nebraska Community Band playing at 6 at the Fairview Golf Course Clubhouse lawn along with a barbecue supper.
The Fun Zone will be open from 6 – 9 p.m. Featuring inflatable bounce houses. There will be a magic show from 6 – 7 p.m.
The Nebraska Bush Pullers tractor pull will begin at 7 p.m. Followed by the Grand River Rodeo at 8 p.m.
Saturday features a Barbecue competition starting at 6 a.m.
The mud volleyball tournament starts at 9 a.m.
At 11 the car show begins and will include cars, trucks, motorcycles and antique tractors.
There will be a Little Sprouts Kids Workshop near the midway.
5 p.m. Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull. The Outlaw pull will be followed by the farm tractor pull.
6 – 10 p.m. The midway is open.
There will be a Bear maker, a caricature artist, the inflatable carnival and Midwest Mobile Golf event going on throughout the day.
The second night of the Grand River Rodeo will begin at 8 p.m
