(KNZA)--There will be no change in leadership for the South Brown County USD 430 Board of Education during the 2026-27 school year.
During the board’s organizational meeting on July 8th, Jason Selland was unanimously re-elected as board president, and Rex Lockwood was unanimously re-elected as vice-president.
In other business, the board approved several new hires. They include Travis George as Horton High School athletic director, physical education and health teacher; Joyce Shirley as part-time transportation director; Ivy Stone as part-time vocal music teacher at Horton High School; Shandel Thompson as Horton High School office para; and Kathy Camblin as part-time food service cook at Everest Middle School.
