(KLZA)-- Voting for the 2026 Richardson County Fair Queen is underway.

On August 6 the top 10 candidates will be revealed with the final voting county on Saturday, September 12.

Any girl at least 16 years of age on or before July 31, 2026 and not out of the 12th grade is eligible to enter. Candidates must be currently involve din the community and reside in the HTRS School District or live in Richardson County.

Votes are given on transactions of at least 25 cents with each cent equal to one vote.

Votes are cast at businesses that are members of the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.

The Queen will be crowned during opening ceremonies of the Richardson County Fair and Humboldt Fall Festival in September.
