(KNZA)--Highland Community College has named Rick Duncan as its new vice president for administrative services.

In a release, the college said Duncan brings extensive experience in strategic planning, operational excellence, and organizational development to the Highland leadership team. A performance-focused operations leader, Duncan has held executive roles with Prairie Band LLC, Pilot Water Solutions, and TC Energy.

Throughout his career, Duncan has led efforts to improve efficiency, oversee major infrastructure projects, reduce costs, and develop strong, safety-focused workplace cultures. The college says his background in asset management and team building will support Highland’s continued focus on effective operations and a thriving campus community.

College officials say Duncan’s leadership and experience will help advance the college’s operational goals and strengthen services for students, faculty, and staff.
