Froeschl said there has been what he called a trendin gdelay on the timeline due to clarifying transmission service transition with the Omaha Public Power District, seeking an organization to act as Southwest Power Pool market agent, and obtaining transmission customer status in the market. There has been progress in recent weeks with appropriate agreements having been signed to become a Network Integrated Transmission Customer.  

Falls City has been the recipient of $15 million in funding from the State of Nebraska to aid the community in bringing additional power to the community. 

Froeschl also noted in updates this week that EDGE has been setting organizational goals for the future. The strategic plan adopted calls for attention to business attraction and retention;  community infrastructure and investment and Operational sustainability. 

During the report it was noted that EDGE in the last quarter hosted a Community Housing Event for developers, sub-contractors and those interested in housing solutions.
