(KAIR)--A two-vehicle crash, Friday morning at Atchison's 14th and Main Streets, sent a 63-year-old resident of the city to the hospital.

A release from Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says officers responded to the intersection around 10:30 after the crash was reported. 

According to Wilson, it happened when an SUV, driven by 15-year-old Wathena resident Jaykylah Fanning, was turning south onto 14th when it collided with an eastbound van, on Main, driven by 63-year-old Staci Crowe of Atchison, the lone occupant of the vehicle. 

Wilson says Crowe and was transported by Atchison County EMS to Amberwell Atchison for hospital examination.  

Fanning, and her two passengers, were not hurt.
