(KAIR)--Maur Hill-Mount Academy has named Dave Domann as its 2026 Alumni of the Year.

Domann, Class of 1971, will be honored at the League of St. Maur Gala on September 19 at the Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City.

According to a release from the school, Domann’s “lifelong connection to Atchison and the Maur Hill-Mount Academy community has shaped his life and legacy,” having been “raised just blocks from campus.” Domann was one of six siblings who attended Maur Hill Preparatory School and Mount St. Scholastica Academy, with the release saying that “early foundation instilled a commitment to faith, community, and service that continues to guide him.”

After graduating from Maur Hill Prep in 1971, Domann earned pharmacy degrees from the University of Kansas, with his following career including decades in pharmacy and 28 years in leadership with Bristol Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson, where he contributed to national healthcare initiatives.

Domann’s ties to Maur Hill-Mount Academy, the release says, “extend well beyond his student years,” with the release noting he served on the Maur Hill Prep Alumni Board in the 1980s, and after returning to Kansas in retirement, rejoined the school as a member of the Board of Directors, playing a key role in guiding the school’s sustainability and growth efforts following the coronavirus pandemic.

Domann and his wife, Libby, will mark 50 years of marriage next year, and have three children and five grandchildren.
