(KNZA)--An Oskaloosa man is facing charges of aggravated robbery and battery following an investigation by the Oskaloosa Police Department.

Thirty-eight-year-old Robert Brewer was arrested August 1st on a Jefferson County warrant charging him with with the offenses in connection with a July 26th incident.

According to the criminal complaint, prosecutors allege Brewer forcibly took an iPhone from another individual by using force or threatening bodily harm. He is also accused of causing bodily harm to the victim during the incident.

Brewer remains in the Jefferson County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
