The Missouri Highway Patrol reported the southbound semi traveled off the east side of the road, returned to the road and overturned, coming to rest on it's drivers side, blocking both southbound lanes of traffic.
The wreck occurred around 3:50 a.m. Approximately five miles east of Oregon, Missouri.
The 2024 Freightliner was totaled.
The driver was transported to the Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph by the Atchison-Holt Ambulance District.
