Signage project underway in Marshall County

(KMZA)--The Kansas Department of Transportation began a highway signing project last week in Marshall County.

The project is replacing signs along portions of K-9, K-99, K-233, U.S. 36 and U.S. 77.

Most work is taking place on the shoulders with minimal traffic impacts, although flaggers may be used during temporary lane closures.

Work is scheduled Monday through Saturday during daylight hours and is expected to continue through October, weather permitting.

KOMO Construction of Elko New Market, Minnesota, is the contractor on the 726-thousand-dollar project.
