(KNZA)--A Hiawatha man convicted of two felony aggravated assault charges has been placed on probation.

Online court records show Dustin McCulley was given a suspended prison sentence last week in Brown County District Court and placed on two years of supervised probation.

McCulley pleaded no contest to the charges last month.

He was accused of threatening two people with a knife in August 2025.

The case was investigated by the Hiawatha Police Department.
