(KLZA)--The Falls City Police Department is informing the public about phone calls  being received advising citizens that they have forgotten to sign their check they had written to pay their utility bill.

The caller then asks the party for their individual banking information. 

The Falls City utility office confirmed that they would never ask for your banking information over the phone. If you receive one of these calls, please do not give any of your personal information.
