(KAIR)--Multiple fire departments responded to a large commercial structure fire in Elwood late Monday night.

The Elwood Fire Department responded around 10:30 to the fire at the former Dean Machinery building located at 1910 Roseport Road, currently home for Dunning Express.  

When firefighters arrived, they found the structure heavily involved in flames.

Doniphan County Emergency Management says a call went out for mutual aid, with firefighters from Troy, Wathena, Rosecrans Airport and the St. Joseph, Missouri Fire Department responding.

The fire was brought under control within an hour.

Three commercial vehicles were heavily damaged or destroyed by the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
