Jack Geiger/submitted
(KNZA)--Brown County farmer Jack Geiger of rural Robinson will appear on the November general election ballot as an independent candidate for Kansas House District 62.
Geiger’s campaign says the Kansas Secretary of State has accepted the 828 petition signatures he submitted from voters in Brown, Nemaha and Jackson counties.
Geiger says his campaign is focused on issues including property taxes, the cost of living, rural communities and the influence of money and partisan politics in government.
He will face incumbent Republican Representative Sean Willcott in the November general election.
