(KNZA)--A traffic stop in Jackson County has led to the arrest of a 50-year-old Mayetta woman on multiple drug charges.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says a deputy stopped a Chevrolet Silverado Sunday afternoon shortly before 2 p.m. on 150th Road near Q Road. The stop was initiated after the driver was allegedly found to be operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
Morse said a probable cause search of the vehicle reportedly turned up methamphetamine, marijuana, THC, drug paraphernalia and open containers of alcohol.
The driver, identified as Christina Wahquahboshkuk of Mayetta, was arrested and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
She was booked into jail on charges including possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, THC and drug paraphernalia, along with driving while suspended, transporting an open container and no vehicle liability insurance.
