(KMZA)---Health officials are investigating a reported cluster of salmonella cases among people who attended the Axtell Days Festival earlier this month.

The Marshall County Health Department is working with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and is asking everyone who attended the festival August 6th through the 9th to complete an online survey—even if they did not get sick.

Health officials say the voluntary survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes and will help with the ongoing investigation.

Salmonella symptoms can include diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps and usually begin within six hours to six days after infection.
