(KAIR)--Some type of explosive device.

That's what Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says investigators say caused criminal damage this week to an Atchison residence.

Wilson, in a release, says that damage happened in the 1500 block of South 8th Street Tuesday night shortly after 9:00.

All damage occurred on the outside of the residence, including siding and several windows.

According to Wilson, his officers and detectives are joined in the investigation by a Fire Department Investigator and the Kansas Fire Marshal's Office.
