(KLZA)-- A now former Holt County, Missouri Deputy Sheriff is facing charges of 1st degree harassment and possession of child pornography in Atchison County, Missouri.

39-year-old Luke Seiter of Rock Port was arrested August 26 following an investigation, which is ongoing.

Holt County Sheriff Tiger Parsons in a social media release said Seiter was put on administrative leave when he was notified by Atchison County Sheriff Andrew Riley of a complaint his office had received concerning the Holt County deputy.

When Sheriff Parsons was advised of the intent to charge Seiter, he was immediately terminated.
