(KLZA)-- The Richardson County Fair takes place this week in Humboldt.
The theme for the fair this year is “America 250 What an Excellent Adventure.”
Highlights of the fair include the parades around the square Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings at 11.
Each day of the fair, Free acts will perform in the park at 2 in the afternoon and 8 o'clock in the evening.
Thursday the free act will be Ricky & Tommy Cosentino, known as “The Coz Brothers.”
From Los Angeles they have been performing together since 1982 and have toured with acts such as Three Dog Night, War, Ambrosia, and Edgar Winter.
Friday, Nebraska born Jason Mayer will perform, blending country and rock into a high-energy performance to entertain the crowds.
Saturday will feature Pink Kadillac, a variety band from Omaha that has been performing for over 40 years. Their show features your favorites from yesterday and today.
The Free Act entertainment is sponsored by the Richardson County Agricultural Society and the Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.
The D.C. Lynch Carnival Rides & Concessions and other vendors will be open Wednesday evening and all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday around the square in Humboldt.
The AG Building will house the various exhibits during the fair. The Southeast Community Band will perform at 6 p.m. Thursday and the annual AKSARBEN Farm Family awards will be presented at 7:30.
Friday will feature the Kiddy tractor pull at the Powell Pavillion at 4 p.m.
Saturday events will include and antique tractor show on the lot west of the Methodist Church beginning at 9 a.m.
The bucket goat and sheep judging will be a 1 p.m. Thursday.
The poultry and female goat judging will be at 1 p.m. Friday. Saturday the dairy and beef show judging will begin at 1p.m. As well as the horse show judging.
