(KLZA)-- “America 250 What an Excellent Adventure” is the theme for the Richardson County Fair that take place in Humboldt Wednesday through Saturday. 
Events begin Wednesday evening with the Humboldt Fall Festival during which the crowning of the annual Queen and King of the Fair will be crowned and the Humboldt Woman of the Year will be honored. The program begin at 7 p.m., in the City Square Park.
This years Queen candidates include:
Shayla Clark, a senior at Humboldt – Table Rock – Steinauer High School.  The daughter of MaryJo and Jerrod Lippold of Humboldt. 
Eden Duryea, a junior at HTRS and the daughter of Dan and Heather Duryea of rural Humboldt. 
PJ Howe, a junior at HTRS and the daughter of Caleb and Megan Howe of rural Humboldt. 
Hallie Jones, a senior at Falls City Sacred Heart school.  Hallie is the daughter of Luke and Celeste Jones of rural Falls City.
Eden Stewart, a junior at HTRS is the daughter of Nick and Valerie Stewart of Humboldt. 
This years escorts of the queen candidates include Darius Bohling, Kameon Dettmann, Colt Leech and Axton Wamsley, all seniors at Humboldt-Table Rock – Steineauer and Dayton Snethen a senior at Falls City High School. 
The royalty will be crowned by Fred Bucher, who grew up northeast of Humboldt and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1973, then served 28 years in the Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.  
In case of weather issues, the program will be moved to the Humboldt City Auditorium.
