Teen dead, man injured, in Pottawatomie crash Friday

(KNZA)--A Friday morning two-vehicle Pottawatomie County crash claimed the life of an Onaga teenager and left another person seriously injured.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff Office said the crash was reported shortly after 6:40 a.m. on K-63 Highway, just north of St. Mary's, near Doyle Creek Road.
The Sheriff's Office says law enforcement determined a Honda Civic driven by 18-year-old Alyssa Mullins, of Onaga, was southbound when a northbound Chevy Impala driven by 23-year-old Bryce Ashlock, of Ogden, appeared to have crossed the center line and struck the Honda Civic.
Mullins was flown by medical helicopter to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka with serious injuries.  She was later pronounced dead.
Ashlock was also taken to the hospital with suspected serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
