The department, also known as Atchison County Rural Fire District Number Three, will host the fundraiser Saturday morning, September 26, from 7:00 until noon at the Jackson Park Shelter House, in Atchison.
Along with pancakes, the event will include a silent auction, gun raffle and a 50/50 money bucket. Entries for the money bucket will cost five dollars each or five for 20 dollars.
The fire department is also accepting donated baskets for the silent auction.
The pancake feed will operate through free will donations, with all proceeds supporting the department’s efforts to purchase the new equipment and fire suits. Organizers are inviting the community to enjoy breakfast while supporting local firefighters.
