(KAIR)--A late Tuesday morning wreck involving an Atchison County Sheriff's Deputy and a semi truck is under the investigation of the Kansas Highway Patrol; and, as that report is awaited, Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie confirms there were no injuries in the wreck. 

He tells MSC News the non-injury accident happened on U.S. Highway 59, at 274th Road, as both vehicles were turning, but specifics aren't immediately available, pending finalization of the official report. 

The wreck was reported around 10:40 Tuesday morning.
