(KNZA)--A motorcyclist was killed following a crash Sunday afternoon in St. Joseph, Missouri.

The St. Joseph Police Department says officers responded around 12:40 Sunday afternoon to South 22nd and Sacramento streets for a crash involving a minivan and motorcycle.

The motorcycle driver was ejected and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Mosaic Life Care, where he was later pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation. The name of the motorcyclist has not been released.
